Stacey Boynton, AIA, NOMA

Stacey Boynton AIA, NOMA, is a Registered Architect and Interior Designer and the Founder and Principal of STUDIO-US, a multidisciplinary design practice rooted in architecture, culture, and community. Through its three core pillars (see below) the studio explores how the built environment, personal expression, and everyday living intersect to shape identity and belonging.

Stacey earned her Master of Architecture and Community Design from the University of South Florida. Following graduation, she worked in Houston, Texas on a range of projects spanning furniture design, interior design, and architecture. She later returned to South Florida, where she served as a Project Architect on numerous projects including tenant improvements, building renovations, and restaurants throughout the tricounty area. These experiences continue to inform her holistic, people-centered approach to design.

As Principal of STUDIO-US [DESIGN], Stacey leads projects that prioritize thoughtful placemaking, culturally responsive design, and clear coordination across disciplines, particularly within historically underrepresented communities. Her work reflects a belief that architecture is both a professional service and a civic responsibility.

Stacey is an active leader within the profession. She serves as Vice President of AIA Fort Lauderdale and as Chair of the AIA Florida IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Action) Advisory Council, helping guide statewide initiatives focused on equity, pipeline development, and professional practice. She is also the Past President of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA), South Florida Chapter, where she has been deeply involved in advocacy, mentorship, and community engagement. Through her practice and leadership, Stacey continues to advance architecture as a tool for representation, opportunity, and meaningful community impact.
